Dear Friends of Spring Forest:
We are delighted you have joined in journeying with us by subscribing to our website and blog.
As 2022 begins, we find ourselves on the brink of beginning our first Spring-Fall CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program from our onsite all natural regenerative farm. We dipped our toes into the CSA waters last fall with an introductory 8 Week Fall CSA that was a big hit and great joy to fulfill. Now, more than ever, our bodies and spirits seek the healing and harmony of living close to the earth and in community with each other. Times have dictated that we are creative in the ways we create and sustain community, and I think we’ve been up to the challenge and this blog is one of the ways we connect.
Going forward, we aspire to bring you various voices from our community to show you the fullness of the community and ministries currently going on at Spring Forest.
I am PJ Spinillo, the CSA Coordinator, so when you hear from me, you’ll hear a lot about the farm- veggies, our farming style, the animals, recipes, our community partners and ways our farm is feeding our CSA community and local community through outreach to food banks and feeding ministries. Another main area of our farming ministry supports relationship with our international friends through growing specialty crops and working in cooperation to supply ethnic communities and making Spring Forest a site of the celebration of international friendship through fellowship, food and worship.
By virtue of subscribing to our website, you will receive our weekly Garden newsletter with lots of pictures and recipes. I welcome your feedback to create conversation around the Garden and our CSA.
