
The Retreat
We Offer a Wide Range of Retreat Options:
A solo retreat is one in which participants are on their own unless they choose to participate in communal prayer in the evenings, and/or receive spiritual direction sessions. A guided retreat is one in which a printed guide is used to structure the day and includes times of interaction and participation with the community around meals and prayer, and may include spiritual direction or engagement in caring for and learning about the farm or forest.
Up to five days.
Room and meals provided.
Breakfast and lunch self-prepared, including eggs, toast, cereal, milk, juice, fruit, yogurt, salad and sandwich ingredients, soup
Dinner prepared by and enjoyed family style with community
We can accommodate gluten free and dairy free diets. Beyond that guests with complex dietary needs should provide their own food
Optional participation in evening prayer with community
Access to common spaces in Forest House and/or Garden House
Access to outdoor spaces including gardens, spa, campfire ring, trails, and forest
Theological, ecological, horticultural, and farming libraries
Secure WiFi
Short drive to Eno State Park with miles of hiking trails
$85 per day or $500 per week
Spiritual direction, $50 per session, $120 for 3 sessions
Small group retreats for up to six people, for up to five days. Fees include lodging, meals, and access to the trails and other outdoor spaces. An additional fee applies for group spiritual direction or retreat facilitation.

Retreat facilitation available for some topics including eco-spirituality, food and faith, gardening and the healing of trauma, and more. Cost of facilitation is negotiated based upon length and structure of retreat
Day retreats for up to twelve people. Fee includes the use of common space in Garden House or Forest House, breakfast or lunch, plus snacks and beverages.

The Sabbatical Package offers up to 30 days for individuals who wish to have a beautiful setting and access to a theological library in order to study, rest, and join into the daily rhythms of prayer, meals, and light chores with the community at Spring Forest. Spiritual direction is available for an additional fee. In addition to the amenities on site, persons on sabbatical can enjoy the restaurants, galleries, and shops in historic Hillsborough, hike the numerous trails at Eno State Park (just ten minutes away), or explore the vibrant urban scene in Durham, Raleigh, or Chapel Hill.
